- My name is C. Steven Tucker, President of Small Business Insurance Services, Inc. I have been an Independent multi-state licensed insurance broker since 1995. In 1999, I officially incorporated my business which provides affordable insurance products to the small business & self-employed. I have been interviewed regarding health insurance and insurance in general by The Wall Street Journal, Fortune Magazine, The Nashville Business Journal, Real Estate Executive Magazine, DHL Worldwide & The Tennessean. I joined Blogger to be able to offer insight for consumers who have questions relating to their health insurance. Today, the Internet provides consumers the ability to access great information regarding health insurance. I have read many blogs with postings and comments related to health insurance horror stories. I believe that these horror stories could have been avoided if consumers were educated about their health insurance benefits and coverage limitations at the time they purchased the policy. I believe my postings can help consumers make more educated choices before they purchase a health plan.
